Kid-free.
Hot coffee.
Where are my kids, you wonder? Superman (a.k.a. Turk) has taken them for the entire day to give me a nice Mommy break. Of course I had to offer him some *ahem* payment to coax him into letting me get away (which may or may not make me a prostitute of sorts) but I'm okay with that.
I am so relaxed, so... just... aaaaah, that I sat here staring at a blank blog page for quite some time before I thought of anything to write. It has made me realize that although my little ones are at times incredibly stressful and often make me want to sell them to the zoo, they make for some dog-gone awesome stories.
How boring my blog and my life would be if I were to tell you every day that I was relaxing and being productive.
Psssh, lame.
So, fear not, this is a rare blog. I will be back the next time with proper mommy blog stories about poop, tantrums, and surviving on caffeine and antidepressants.
For now, I'll leave you with a few entertaining texts from my husband today...
"Y has a knife and is demanding milk. Z stole the car and my cell phone. He told me he's going to Vegas with his hooker."
(Y and Z are our 5 month old twins.)
"Z crashed the car and Y burned down the house."
He's making fun of me because I was worried that he'd be overwhelmed and not have fun with all four kids today. He is hell-bent on convincing me that not only will he have fun, but he'll "show" me by having the dishes done and house in order.
I told him to go ahead and do that.

Hey, that doesn't make you a prostitute if youre married! (something my husband said to me once...lol) And those texts about Y and Z are funny! I can tell that Z will be the more demanding - Y just wants milk :P

Your husband is so sweet to do that. Imagine what a 5 month old babies can do? Haha. That was so terrific. Anyway, let me congratulate you for this one day stress free day. Many more days like this to come... I just hope and I pray. *winks*

Oh I really admire a man like your husband. He's so sweet! Other husband cannot do such thing like what he is doing for you and your kids.
