Yay! I'm so glad to hear you're happy and Clint's happy and the kiddos are well. And what awesome news about the house! Since you're pondering a career change let me interject my two cents. I have also been thinking of going back to school for diagnostic medical sonography (I mostly just want to look at little babies on the monitor). I was at my doc yesterday and she said if you want a career with growth definitely go for your RN. It takes the same amount of time and money as DMS, or in your case medical assistant, and when you have your RN you can progress to nurse practitioner later on. You can use your RN to become a CEO of a hospital and it can even give you street cred in your writing (holla!). So anyway, she hasn't changed my mind but I thought I'd share the knowledge. Thank you for filling the hole in my internet! You are a super person. :)

love it! We've always gone to the farm but honestly, I want a fake tree. One of these days I will buy one. I hate the mess and my allergies and asthma HATE having a cut tree and well, I hate the mess. :) And then I will totally not feel like a true Oregonian with a fake tree :)

We're devotees of the Lowe's Christmas tree farm. It's a good thing. BTW, I have a friend with a 2 year old, 1 year old and now she's expecting twins April. Any sage advice for her?

I have never done the whole tree farm thing. Most of growing up we had a fake tree. Then my mom started getting live trees from a nursery--you know, roots and all so we could plant it after Christmas. Of course that meant we couldn't bring it inside and decorate it until a couple days before Christmas. When I finally had my own house I went for a live tree, but was in CA so got it from Home Depot. Japan = fake tree and we're still using that one today. I kind of want to do a real tree, but I don't think Erik is convinced. ;)

I have a fake tree too. My brother was horrified that my son has never had the experience of a fresh tree- so now I am considering getting a little one.

This is the first year we actually did go to a farm with the kids. We usually pull up outside of haggen. I hop out and scan the trees. When I find one I like, I point to it and run back to the car. My husband then jumps out and goes to get it and tie it to the top. The kids don't even get out of the car! We did like the farm experience, but we actually liked our haggen trees better! Good for you! I bet the kids had a blast!

They're getting so big! And me and the spawnlet are even worse, we have a fake tree...it lives in the closet, pre-decorated because I was too lazy to actually remove said decorations. I admit it. :p
